Estes Construction is working with the Iowa Construction Advocate Team (ICAT) to share our expertise with Iowa school boards as they improve their districts' learning environments to accommodate new technologies or lower operating expenses. We help school districts achieve their goals through a process called Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) - the construction delivery method recommended by the Iowa Association of School Boards (IASB). If your district is considering a project, or has begun the design, IPD is a unique approach that has been proven to provide lower costs, higher satisfaction and better quality.[1] This collaborative approach includes school districts, communities, financial providers, designers, and the construction team in one unified process. IPD harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to optimize results, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency through all phases of design, construction, and beyond. Guided by the principles of trust, transparency and communication, this delivery method will help your school board members be good financial stewards to the community and comply with state regulatory guidelines.

Phase One: "Opportunity"
Estes relieves districts of the burden of navigating complex project planning by giving school boards an inexpensive way to assess their needs and match them with potential funding sources. Our total project approach offers several key advantages, including a low cost facility evaluation, accurate budget projections, transparent board reporting, and public relations assistance in the "Opportunity Phase."
